Seasonal & Park Home Camping

For those looking for that weekend “lake home” for summer weekends and vacations, or those wanting to enjoy the “snowbirding” life-style in retirement, staying  close to the family in the Midwest during the summer while spending their winters in the sunny South, Pearl Lake offers everything that you’re looking for.

While its “northwoods” look and atmosphere offers the same feel as a resort community in Northern Wisconsin, Pearl Lake offers that feel as close as Illinois/Wisconsin border.  Weekenders benefit from a short drive on the Interstate from the Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison and other metropolitan areas to reach their weekend retreat, while retirees can find themselves the same short distance from family, old friends and their “roots” in their retirement years.

Pearl Lake’s RV Park offers sites for travel and destination trailers and 5th wheels as well as for park home units, while its Park Home Neighborhood features lots that accommodate park homes with large “Florida” rooms, with some site’s adjacent to the lake and others within view of it.

With the lake as its centerpiece, Pearl Lake’s residents enjoy access to an expansive and meticulously groomed swimming beach as well as fishing in 35 acres of gin-clear waters that are regularly stocked with game fish including small and largemouth bass, walleye, perch, trout, and bluegills as well.  Fishing is from shore or residents may furnish their own small fishing boats either equipped with oars or trolling motors.  Residents may also utilize their own paddle boats on the lake or rent those available from Pearl Lake.

Pearl Lake Restaurant offers great food and drink overlooking the lake on Friday and Saturday evenings while the Beach Snack Bar offers sandwiches and treats when the beach is open.

Seasonal sites include full hook-ups (water, metered electric & sewer) and optional telephone service.  Cable television is available at some sites and the property is also serviced by satellite tv service providers.  Additionally, a number of local “over-air” channels/networks are available.  A WIFI network is available for a portion of the campground.

Although the lake’s grounds project a “northwoods” atmosphere, all the conveniences of a large metropolitan area are located nearby … including grocery stores, shopping, fine dining and fast food, and a variety of interesting attractions and entertainment.  See our list of Information, Area Attractions and Links.

Pearl Lake’s camping season extends from May 1st to October 15th.

Pearl Lake Trailer Sales, located on the property, offers both new and used travel and destination trailers, 5th wheels, and parkhome units for sale.  (Please note … all parkhome units must be purchased from or re-sold through Pearl Lake Trailer Sales.)  Service, installation and building services, as well as retail sales of camping supplies and LP, are also available.  Winterization of units is also offered after closing for an additional fee.

Please see Seasonal Camping Amenities, Rules and Regulations and Rates for additional information.
